Garden of the Provinces and Territories
Wellington St., Ottawa, Ontario

The Garden of the Provinces and Territories is a modernist 1.5 ha (4 acre) urban park designed by Don W. Graham, and built in 1962 in anticipation of Canada’s 1967 centennial. It is owned by the Federal Government and operated by the NCC. The park includes substantial stone walls, stone paving, trees, flower beds, grassed areas and two fountains. RMA was engaged in 2003 to undertake a condition assessment report on the whole park. From this report, RMA undertook various projects from 2004 to 2009 to restore the fountains to operation, restore the masonry and to improve security.
